How I Increased Demo Requests by 161% in 6 Months for a Restaurant Analytics Platform

This restaurant analytics SaaS had a conversion problem. Their traffic wasn’t terrible, but demos were rare.

They had content, but it wasn’t working for them. Most of their blogs just sat there gathering dust without generating any leads.

But in  just 6 months, we were able to triple their demo requests and increase traffic by 31%.

This is a great study in just how much difference a few small tweaks can make.

The Problem

The client’s site had several major issues:

  • Product pages that didn’t clearly explain the software’s benefits for restaurant owners
  • Content that wasn’t optimized for SEO
  • No conversion strategy on high-traffic pages
  • Zero internal linking strategy to guide visitors to high-value pages
  • CTAs that blended into the background rather than standing out
  • Keyword cannibalization where multiple pages competed for the same terms

Despite having invested in content creation, they weren’t seeing any ROI.Their content was failing at both ends – it wasn’t ranking well, and it wasn’t converting visitors.

In fact, the majority of their traffic left without taking any action.

The Solution

We focused on two main strategies:

Part One

Content Optimization (Not Creation)

Here’s what this looked like:

  • Conducting a full content audit to identify quick-win pages (ranking positions 4-20)
  • Optimizing title tags for higher CTR from SERPs
  • Rewriting key product page headlines to focus on benefits and features
  • Fixing keyword cannibalization issues by consolidating competing pages

Instead of creating new content, we perfected what was already there. This allowed us to see results much faster than starting from scratch.

Part 2

Conversion Rate Optimization

Here’s what this looked like:

  • Redesigning CTAs with contrasting colors and action-oriented language
  • Adding sticky navigation with a prominent “Request Demo” button
  • Creating industry-specific landing pages targeting different restaurant types
  • Simplifying the demo request form (from 9 fields to just 4)
  • Adding social proof elements with actual customer metrics

In other words, we prioritized making it ridiculously easy for qualified leads to convert. Every page had one clear next step for visitors to take.

Here are the results.

Demo requests increased by 161%

50% increase of page-one keywords
